Who will be practicing this week-end?
Elijah and I should be there Friday and Saturday.
Hope to see some friends.

Hey, Chris. John mentioned where you were this week-end...you'll have to tell us how much fun it was.
The weather was perfect and we ran a bunch of laps. Elijah showed no sign of rust and ran very consistant laps.
We are both excited for the 1st race week-end.
Talk to you soon.

Yes, see you soon.

I am very excited to get on track and do some racing.  We have our new RY and it is currently in the build process.  Last year we ran the Super Birel, this year we have the Super Birel 2.0.  It is put together with many of the previous Super Birel pieces but has a nicer fit and finish as well as the new updated '09 birel pieces which i feel are a step up from the older generations.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the track this year.

Hi to all,

This is my first year trying out racing.  This is a dream come true for me  Just to go out on the track and have fun with everyone else.  Like most here I am going broke in a hurry.  Just wondering what you guys think about the 120 practice fee they are charging?  How much track time do you get for that?  Is doing the friday practice at BW a better use of money?

Thanks for any and all advice

I'm not sure what you are referring to for the $120.

Does this include kart rental? It must.  I know if I take equipment it costs around 40 bucks for the day.

Have you never been to a race weekend? Sat practice is "run" by us our club, not "they" and the AFM gets money back, its generally safer with NMP and all corner workers there, and times are recorded.  into our club

The amount of time on track  Fri. is longer

I would use a softer brush in places. I know this is against current practice where everything is hardedged but that is a fad. Try and paint the edge the way you see it compared to the edges around it. That is the rule of thumb I use when painting Digitally or traditionally.

as a first timer i would suggest doing the sat practice. 1st you will get a feeling of passing or being passed on the inside or outside none or this 3ft in between business, 2nd ull get to meet people that race in ur class so them may be able to give u some advice if needed, & 3rd ull never really know if its worth it to u if u dont try it for your self.

On another note not to side bust, but am i tripn or did the price for sat practice go up?
